Bike Rentals at Classic Cycle

Call to reserve yours at 206-842-9191.  Check in at the Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center for bike maps.

Open Wed - Sun 10-4.  Last guest entrance at 2 PM.  Reservations recommended but not required.  $12 admission, special rates for children, seniors, military, students. 206-842-7631.

Kids Discovery Museum

Traveling and interactive exhibits.  Tues-Sat 10-4, Sun 12-4.  $5 admission, kids under 1 and members are free.  206-855-4650

Mochi Tsuki
January 3, 2010. Commemoration of the new year hosted by the Bainbridge Island Japanese Community at Islandwood.  Drumming performances, communal creation of sweet rice cakes.

February 28, 2010.  Annual bike race for the up and down the hills made by an ancient glacial retreat.

Field’s End 5th Annual Writers’ Conference
April 17, 2010. Field’s End, a Writers’ Community, holds classes, a monthy Writers’ Roundtable, and lectures in the art and craft of writing.

Celluloid (Bainbridge Island’s Film Festival)

Bainbridge Island Rotary Auction & Sale
June 25 (Auction), June 26-27 (Sale).  Each year, the Rotary auction recycles island treasures, furnishes dorm rooms, and thrills bargain hunters.  

Garden Conservancy’s Open Days

Farmer’s Market
Locally grown fresh vegetables and plants, locally produced jams, baked goods, and crafts.  Saturdays, April through October at Town Square in City Hall Park, 9-11, and mid-November - mid-December at Eagle Harbor Church 10-3.

Nordic Folk Dancing
